Throughout his fellowship, Jordan led a series of projects to understand the contributions of women within fishing communities in which the Environmental Defense Fund’s (EDF) Ocean Program is working. Jordan's work is helping EDF develop gender-responsive RBM strategies that not only support the economic and biological viability of fisheries, but aim to meet common social goals within these communities and ensure equitable access to resources and representation, regardless of gender. This presentation will highlight Jordan's knowledge development and engagement with these important topics, and provide insights into the future of this work at EDF and beyond.
